The department of Electronics and communication of GECI yields a good number of skilled and efficient professionals every year. Our department grooms out 2800 students in 4 batches and is blessed with the encouragement and whole hearted support of around 25 staffs. The efforts of students have been shown a steep rise in academic status. We have proved that our excellence in cultural and technical events as well the talented and enthusiastic brain heads of ECE has contributed enormously to sustain the victorious saga of GECI .
Technos
Technos is the technical wing of the technocrats. The members consists of various representatives from different government engineering colleges, polytechnics, ITI etc. Technos conducts seminars, intercollege technical and arts festival usually at Government engineering college, Thrissur. Technos also conducts several technical seminars on various topics. Technos conducts mock exams and apptitude tests for GATE aspirants. Technos has also tried to improve the quality of students appearing for placements with the help of sample aptitude tests, preplacement talks, Self development classes etc. In our college, technos has conducted various test for students appearing for gate examination and studens appearing for placement tests.
